I always wanted to be the person that got complimented for his style. Very low-key I always wanted to be the best-dressed but I didn’t want to stick-out. Growing up I realized that smooth was the way to be, but getting there took time and a lot of trial and error. I liked the color but didn’t want to be too bold and I liked the texture but didn’t want to wear a costume. Although I had days where I felt like a clown, I had to own it. Owning my “reason’s why” and making an adult decision or back then, a very young one, was not only set me up to build what I learned later is confidence but took me out of my comfort zone and embrace my look. We all learn character building through different outlets. Little do we realize that everything we are doing at this very moment is changing the way you will make your next decision. The only way you will decide to decide is through what you just learned that exact moment when one is choosing their fate. This is why making mistakes, developing your palette and making a bold move is just life. To me life is fashion. Life is style and life is deciding what you like and what you feel confidence draping yourself with while owning it.
